The Wharton PE/VC Club is the premier destination for MBA students pursuing careers in private equity, venture capital, and private markets. Our mission is to bridge the gap between Wharton's world-class talent and the firms that shape global capital.
As a member, you will sharpen your investment skills, build direct relationships with professionals at leading firms, and join a tight-knit community of driven, intellectually curious students and alumni who are collectively shaping the future of private capital.
Fireside chats and panels with senior leaders from the world's leading PE and VC firms. We engage voices from every corner of private capital — mega-cap buyout to growth equity, venture, and beyond. Past speakers have represented Apollo, KKR, Blackstone, Carlyle, Warburg Pincus, Sequoia, and more.
Immersive firm visits to New York and other financial hubs, giving members direct access to deal teams at the world's top PE and VC firms. Members gain candid exposure to firm culture, strategy, and what investors are looking for in MBA hires.
Hands-on workshops covering leveraged buyout modeling, deal structuring, due diligence frameworks, and portfolio operations. Led by second-years with PE and VC experience — designed to bridge classroom theory and the rigor expected in real-world investing.
Access to a deep bench of Wharton PE/VC alumni across every major firm and strategy. Through mentorship programming, informal introductions, and alumni-led sessions, we help members build the professional relationships that matter most for long-term career success.
We organize and participate in investment case competitions with premier PE and VC firms. Members apply analytical frameworks in a real-world context, presenting investment theses to panels of industry professionals.
